Science and technology are an essential foundation of an
industrial society. What is their relationship to our values? Real
or perceived hazards often dominate public perception: from
microplastics to plasticisers, from glyphosate to antibiotic
residues. Is modern civilisation too risky? Is it even an
opponent of morality? Or can ethics and knowledge follow a
joint path, and knowledge and values work together?

moderated by Jan-Martin Wiarda.
The BfR knowledge dialogue is part of the Berlin Science Week
2024. A simultaneous German/English interpretation as well as
live streaming are offered.
